Purpose:  The Praise Team's goal is to lead the congregation to sing from the heart as we lift high the name of Jesus.

The Praise Team currently consists of nine people who love to sing praise to the Lord. Song styles vary from Contemporary to Hymns and Southern Gospel. Often, we sing with keyboard only, but at times we sing with guitar, flute, trombone or other instruments. One member also shares the message in sign language.

We sing at worship on the first and third Sundays of each month. God has also blessed us with opportunities to share in churches, nursing homes and at community events.

The Praise Team recently recorded a CD entitled Freedom In Jesus, which includes 16 classic and modern songs of praise to the Lord.  The CD can be purchased for $15 through the First Reformed Church office or from one of the Praise Team members.

Practices are held Thursday evenings at 6:30.
